Welp. For the first time since I started this epic quest, I'm not quite finished with my goals for the week.
I did round out my Backstage chapter, and got a bit of time to incorporate smart comments on the first chunk before sending it to another reader.
I also went through revisions to a good swath of my Dorothy Jordan chapter (a task that I'm supposed to complete over the next week).
But I've not got a full draft of my section on Jane Lessingham. I had to do more hunting and gathering for sources than I anticipated (lots of fruitless searching in the Burney collection newspapers), and am struggling to pull together a narrative. I'm still plugging away, but don't think I'm going to make my GOT premiere deadline.
I may need to adjust my plans slightly in response to this, perhaps planning to need a bit more time for drafting each section of this new chapter. I'm hoping, though, that our Easter break, which starts Wednesday, offers a bit of time to catch up.

On the plus side, I've got an article out in the newest issue of Theatre Survey. I'll do a separate post with the abstract and a link to where to read.
