Manuscript-a-Palooza Weeks Five & Six

It's been two weeks since I last gave an update. I've been trying to stay on track, but am losing the battle in the face of the end of the semester, which for me is unfortunately far from over (grades due 5/13, a comp exam to give on 5/16 and grade on 5/21, and a couple of thesis projects and end of year events).
Chapter Six is still in process, and will probably remain that way for another couple of weeks. While I've been able to do some researching and writing, it will need a day or two of concentrated effort to pull together into a complete chapter draft.
The good news is that the Backstage chapter is only a week behind. The Dorothy Jordan chapter needs some citation work, meaning it is slightly ahead of my planned schedule.
I've put a couple of other tasks on hold for a moment (notes on the Conclusion's redrafting, revising chapter breakdowns in the Introduction), which brings me to another piece of good news: I'll be talking with an editor about my proposal on Wednesday! Part of the conversation is about scope for the manuscript, so I'm waiting on edits to these chapters until I've got a clearer picture of where I'm headed.
In the meantime, I'll be prepping for that meeting and doing what I can to wrap up the Jordan chapter. And sadly that's probably about it this week.
But I'm not giving up.
