Re-setting

As anticipated, I had a bananas week.


My plan to lessen my expectations of the book work I was going to accomplish in order to make space for other tasks was...marginally successful. I still missed two days of writing, but I felt fantastic on the two days when I managed to work MORE than my goal of 45 minutes each morning.



But my sleep has gone to the dogs these last two weeks, and it's really taking a toll on my mood and energy levels right at the moment when I need both of them to keep all the dinner plates spinning. It was a good time to read this article about the incredible role sleep plays in our overall health and longevity.


So, this week is all about resetting: getting back to good a sleep habit, back to yoga (I was out all this week with a knee issue), back to the planning that lets me make the most out of my weeks.


And this is going to be a teeny-tiny post, because it's 10:34 and it's time to get some sleep.
