Welcome!

In Fall 2018, I was on sabbatical and working on a book manuscript entitled, "Carrying All Before Her:" Pregnancy and Performance on the Eighteenth Century London Stage. If you don't know about it already, don't worry, lots more details to come in future posts. After a busy summer of travel, handling other projects, enjoying my unicorn hair, and posting ridiculous pictures of our cat, waded into the thick of manuscript writing. I spent a month at the Folger Shakespeare Library (one of my FAVORITE places), and am looking forward to returning some this spring.

I started this project to track my progress, showcase exciting (or just plain odd) discoveries, and sometimes even celebrate the non-academic stuff I get up to.

For now, welcome. I'm putting on another pot of coffee and getting back to it.
